04/06/2002: "New Pictures"

I got a message from Brenda this morning that they had already received the money! Now, that’s fast. Happy to know it got to its destination safe and sound.

Then just now, I got another message from her with several stills of Indy she had taken today. She said she was videoing some of the other horses, and Indy seemed to think HE should be included. Brenda said he was prancing all over the place, and the pics she sent bear that out. Oh, how DJ! It’s hard to believe how much like DJ he seems to be. Anyway, I sure loved the pictures.

I’ve been trying to work on the web sites - to get DJ’s converted over to a Memorial and get Indy’s pages created. I’m finding that working on DJ’s is almost impossible. I do a little bit and I’m bummed for the rest of the day. If I can just get the index page done, maybe I will concentrate on Indy’s part for a while. But, there are some graphics I REALLY want to make for DJ’s Memorial. I have the pages all laid out in my mind - I just have to make the graphics and create the pages. “Just.” It’s a BIG just…

Anyway, the pics of Indy were a great upper. I can’t wait for him to get here in person. We have a good bit to do before her gets here anyway. First of all, some fence mending. We got by being a little sloppy with DJ and Ami, but Mr. Indy might be another kettle of fish. Besides, that ice storm a few months ago did more damage than we could allow even with DJ. It’s okay - I need to keep busy. I have a feeling that when Indy gets here, keeping busy will NOT be a problem!
